Our Brief History
With gratitude to God, Divine Love Psycho-Spiritual Counseling Centre, Nigeria, was established following the extensive integrative and formative training of Sr. Perpetua Vanessa Udechukwu at the Psycho-Spiritual Institute (PSI), Nairobi, Kenya, affiliated with the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, from 2022 to 2024. This training was guided and supported by distinguished mentors and sponsors, including Rev. Mother Mary Anastasia Dike, Superior General of the Congregation of the Daughters of Divine Love; Rev. Fr. Dr. George Ehusani, Executive Director of Lux Terra Leadership Foundation, Missio Aachen, and the Psycho-Spiritual Institute. The Centre received formal blessing and approval of Rev. Mother Mary Anastasia Dike on 5th August 2024 at the Scholasticate Community, Abakpa Nike, in the presence of Sr. M. Lilian Ogbodu, Councilor in charge of formation, and Sr. Perpetua Vanessa Udechukwu. Its services officially commenced on 26th August 2024, marking the beginning of a dedicated mission to support the psycho-spiritual wellbeing of individuals, groups, families and communities.
